Our fees and funding
All fees are charged monthly in advance and must be paid by cash or direct debit on the first day of the month to which they relate. Fees are payable during periods of absence from the Nursery including sickness, holidays and during Public and Bank holidays. We are not able to accommodate swapping sessions due to absence from the Nursery. Closure due to severe weather conditions will not be refunded but we will make every effort to remain open.
Fees are calculated on the basis of the weekly charge for the session attended, multiplied by 52 (weeks) then divided by 12 (months) to establish a fixed monthly charge. Non-payment of the direct debit and late payments will incur a charge of £25 and payments still outstanding two weeks after due date will lead to a cancellation of the child’s place in our Nursery. We accept all government funding including FEET funding.
If you are eligible for funding, you will be able to claim this in the term after your child reaches nine months of age. We offer up to 15 hours free for all age groups as well as the extended 30 hours, if eligible.
Funded only places are limited, and are prioritised for those only receiving Government assistance. These places typically have a long waiting list. A funded only place does not cover food and consumables, and therefore we will expect you to pay a voluntary contribution towards them, unless you are providing them for your child. Example of a child attending 2 days per week with private hours:
£75 x 2 x 52 / 12 = £650.00 pcm
Examples of a child attending 2 days per week with private hours and using free hours for 38 weeks of the year over all age groups:
3-4 year olds:
£75 x 2 x 52 / 12 = £650.00
Less 12 hours of funding = £406.04 pcm
2 year olds:
£75 x 2 x 52 / 12 = £650.00
Less 12 hours of funding = £292.80 pcm
Under 2’s:
£84 x 2 x 52 / 12 = £728.00
Less 12 hours of funding = £226.02 pcm
Fees are reviewed annually and increases are implemented in September of each year.

Prices are quoted per child for a core day (8.00am-5.30pm) or per session, and include all food, drinks and nappies as appropriate when using private hours.

We offer up to 6 hours of funding for a full day, 3 hours of funding for a half day which is up to a maximum of 15 or 30 hours per week depending on eligibility and sessions attending.
Private hours are worked out over 52 weeks and divided by 12 months. This will give an overall monthly total.
