Are you a passionate and experienced nursery professional looking for an exciting leadership opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Deputy Manager to join our well-established nursery in Thursley, Godalming.

About the Role:

As Deputy Manager, you will work together with the Nursery Manager to be responsible for the leadership, management, and success of the nursery. You will ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children while leading a team of dedicated staff to deliver outstanding early years’ education and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work along side the Nursery Manager to…
  • Lead and inspire a team to provide high-quality early years education
  • Ensure the nursery meets Ofsted regulations and maintains high standards of care
  • Develop strong relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Under supervision of the Manager, oversee all operational aspects, including recruitment and safeguarding
  • Drive continuous improvement and uphold the nursery’s excellent reputation

About You:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or Room Leader 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Sound knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding childcare and education
